Community solar connects you to a shared solar project in your utility’s service area. Here’s the path from curiosity to credits.
Start with a few household and contact details. No utility password, payment information or documents needed here.
Eligibility, available projects and offer details need review. You can compare the provider’s costs and estimated savings before signing.
After enrollment and activation, your share of a community solar project produces credits on your electricity bill.
UNDERSTAND THE SAVINGS
Illinois Solar for All limits community solar subscription fees to no more than half the value of the solar credits you receive.
That isn’t a promise of 50% off your whole bill. Your credits, other utility charges and provider’s terms affect your actual savings.
